You have to go all the way back to Thomas Jefferson to find a president who dose not claim his decisions in power are directed by god and that to me is a theocracy.

 

So, the mere mention of God by a President makes us a theocracy? Nothing to do with that li'l ol' "First Amendment", which guarantees him freedom of speech, and also guarantees you that no one will make you become a member of a religion or church or anything like that.

1) We still have a Constitution.

2) We still have separation of powers.

3) We still have individual rights.
